Coal Creek channels the movement of mineral-filled waters, carving through an ancient creekbed. Rust, ochre, cobalt, and umber flow in vertical bands, the oxidized trails left behind by iron, copper, and clay bleeding into a creek’s current. Sediment hangs suspended, a natural alchemy in motion. The quiet energy of time, pressure, and elemental force leave behind their vibrant residue. It’s a portrait of gentle water as transformative, slow, and unstoppable.
